Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of new budgets, bi-monthly site valuations, preparation of labour targets and sub-contractor procurement on a range of sites across the region.

Skills

The position requires the successful candidate to be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel packages and be able to communicate effectively with both internal departments, Suppliers and Sub-Contractors. The applicant must be enthusiastic, be commercially aware and a hard working individual who is willing to undertake all necessary training as well as being able to work on their own initiative and be a team player.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’S at Grade C or above. You should demonstrate a proven track record as a quantity surveyor in the construction industry and possess qualifications relevant and appropriate for the role. Experience in house building would be of benefit but is not essential.
