Carry out bookkeeping duties in a multi-currency environment.
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to German GAAP.
Produce cashflow forecasts.
Creation and submission of necessary reports e.g. advance VAT return and payroll submissions.
Oversee the credit control process.
Contact person for tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities.
Develop and maintain financial controls, systems and risk management procedures.
Planning and implementation of internal projects.
Assist and support Directors and the Group Financial Controller in all areas.
Train junior members of the team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Successfully completed commercial training with further training to become a certified accountant or comparable degree with several years of experience in financial and payroll accounting in a medium-sized company. 3 Years accounting experience. Up-to-date advanced knowledge of German GAAP and German tax law. Analytical thinking and a very good understanding of numbers. Reliability, trustworthiness, conscientiousness and willingness to work. Independent, structured and responsible way of working. Ability to work on your own and part of a team. Very good MS Office knowledge, DATEV knowledge is an advantage. Very good written and spoken German and English.
