Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within this reputable Housing Developer for an Architectural Technician to join their design team based in offices on a business Park west of Leeds with easy access onto the M1.

You will be tasked duties not limited to:

~ Production of housing layouts and other construction working drawings in AutoCAD
~ Preparation and submission of planning applications which will entail assisting with the preparation of viabilities to secure planning and building regulation approval at pre contract / conceptual stages of developments
~ Preparation and organisation of drawings prior to start on site

This opportunity is for an Architectural Technician at an intermediate level (2 years + working experience) but you must have prior / current experience of working within a Housing Developer.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

~ Minimum HNC qualified ~ AutoCAD literate ~ Good knowledge of Building Regulations in the housing sector ~ Good understanding of house type working drawings and standard details ~ Excellent communication skills both inwardly and outwardly ~ A natural organiser with lots of initiative
