Our client is looking for an Engineering Admin Assistant to join their new team at their site based in Bridgend.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Preparation and issue of drawing packs, in line with the company’s Quality System.
· Printing of all company labels and dashboards as per contract requirements. (Atlas dashboards take about 4 hours)
· Preparation of data to organize engraving and issue of product ID plates.
· Upload approved BOM’s to release design engineers.
· Upload approved BCR’s to release design engineers.
· Create new part numbers and upload to Syteline to release design engineers.
· Support the requirements of the Product Support log, gather hours from relevant departments and upload BOM’s.
· Would look to use to start creating part numbers for Kanban fixings like nuts and bolts and consumables.
· Excellent communication skills are essential as the applicant will be dealing with internal and external Customers.
· Engineering background would be an advantage but not essential.
· Computer literate (including working knowledge of MS Office, Desk top publishing and preferably Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD)
· Training will be provided where necessary
Be able to work on own initiative, priorities multiple tasks and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
