Job Description

An Infrastructure Engineer is required to carry out a design role working on schemes which are primarily for private sector Developers.

You will work on 2-5 projects at a time providing highways and drainage design packages. Making use of relevant software packages (AutoCAD, WinDes, MicroDrainage) and through production of written documented calculations and construction drawings you will be required to work within agreed deadlines and budgetary constraints.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be a degree qualified Civil Engineer with previous highways infrastructure design experience. You must have a good understanding of S38 / S104 / S278 design requirements and adoption procedures and should be able to produce accurate design drawings and calculations. Ideally you will have the ability to provide guidance to junior staff and are comfortable liaising with clients and relevant approval bodies to progress designs through to construction you should be competent in some or all of the relevant design packages mentioned.
