Job Description

This a fantastic opportunity to gain understanding in the technical aspects of language quality control work. As a Client Services Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting our Client Service Managers in the smooth running and quality assurance of our client accounts. You will also liaise with our team of Project Managers to ensure timely and efficient project set up in order to exceed customer expectations. As a Client Service Administrator, you will be a process driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can carry out several tasks simultaneously. Our Client Services Team maintains a highly rewarding, ever-evolving environment, where curiosity and innovation are highly encouraged.

Headline responsibilities include:

· Liaising with Client Services and Project Management teams to ensure a smooth project workflow through timely file set up and post-production quality control

· Providing administrative support within our Client Management system

· Meeting or exceeding tight deadlines through effective prioritization of workload

· Ensuring smooth and effective communications with other departments

· Highly efficient and effective quality control of complex English text

· Understanding and adhering to the requirements of the Quality and Information Security Policies and associated ISO procedures

COVID-19 and remote-working:
The health and wellbeing of our team members is a top priority. Therefore, this role can be worked remotely, with the opportunity to work from our Chepstow office provided you and other team members feel it is safe to do so. Our offices have been remodeled to allow for social distancing (2m). COVID-19 training is provided, and regulations strictly enforced. We do however insist that you are able to commit to at least three days in the EMPOWER office during at least the first three months of your probationary period (Covid-19 restrictions depending)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Degree level in a language-related subject such as Languages, Linguistics or Data Sciences - Near Native English - Excellent IT skills and ability to pick up new programmes/systems quickly - Working knowledge of at least one other language - A familiarity with CAT tools and translation processes,
