Job Description

You will be responsible for creating drainage and infrastructure plans and designs for site development projects as well as writing drainage impact and flood risk assessment reports.

With this position you will also liaise with the Local Councils and Water Authorities to discharge planning conditions and gain adoption of the highways and sewers. Similarly, you will communicate with Clients, Sub-contractors, Designers and Statutory Regulators on a day to day basis.

You will also be responsible for working with clients to ensure that changes are captured, plans are updated and thoroughly checked as well as ensuring that designs are available for construction.

Person Specification:

As a Senior Civil Engineer you will need to have a good level of drainage and infrastructure knowledge including experience with foundation design and utility services is essential.

An Engineer who is a team player willing to take responsibility for decisions made, able to prioritise workloads and handle various assignments and projects in a fast-paced environment would fit in well within this Consultancy.

It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate experience with hydraulic modelling of sewers and 3D ground modelling software, while having a HND/HNC or higher in Civil Engineering is essential.

The client is looking for someone who has worked within a similar Consultancy and has a level of experience that would typically be gained within 5 years.
