Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts for the group
Supporting the production of the Statutory Accounts, including extensive liaison with external audit
Assisting the with preparation of year end accounts
Prepare necessary IFRS papers and information
Prepare information for tax returns
Business partnering with external advisors
Collate information for R&D tax credit submission
Process/Systems Improvements: ongoing proactive analysis of current systems and processes, implementing changes where needed to support continued growth and expansion
Prepare and submit quarterly Vat returns
Driving the Financial Reporting process across various standards to ensure all reporting requirements are met in a timely, accurate manner
Supervise the finance elements of the payroll process
The continued improvement of accounting process and control
Keeping abreast of changes to financial reporting standards and report key issues to the management team
Supporting the finance management team with ad-hoc projects

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000) and generous benefits package.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Newly/ Recently Qualified ACA or ACCA Experienced in financial reporting Group and consolidation accounting Advanced Excel, Accounting Systems Ambitious, self-motivated character with a desire to progress and take on additional responsibility Team-working skills Team player Autonomous & independent decision maker Energy and enthusiasm, with a desire to get the job done
