Job Description

• Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts for the group
• Supporting the production of the Statutory Accounts, including extensive liaison with external audit
• Assisting the with preparation of year end accounts
• Prepare necessary IFRS papers and information
• Prepare information for tax returns
• Business partnering with external advisors
• Collate information for R&D tax credit submission
• Process/Systems Improvements: ongoing proactive analysis of current systems and processes, implementing changes where needed to support continued growth and expansion
• Prepare and submit quarterly Vat returns
• Driving the Financial Reporting process across various standards to ensure all reporting requirements are met in a timely, accurate manner
• Supervise the finance elements of the payroll process
• The continued improvement of accounting process and control
  Keeping abreast of changes to financial reporting standards and report key issues to the management team
• Supporting the finance management team with ad-hoc projects

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000) and generous benefits package.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Newly/ Recently Qualified ACA or ACCA Experienced in financial reporting Group and consolidation accounting Advanced Excel, Accounting Systems Ambitious, self-motivated character with a desire to progress and take on additional responsibility Team-working skills Team player Autonomous & independent decision maker Energy and enthusiasm, with a desire to get the job done
