Job Description

Enthusiastic, positive individual who is outgoing and personable who will be able to work hard on their own initiative in a fast paced fuel office. Local knowledge is needed for this role as there is an element of planning routes for drivers. If you are looking for a new challenge in 2021 then this role may be for you. We are looking for someone to work 30 hours over 5 days.

To identify and pursue fuel and ancillary sales opportunities in the geographical area covered by the depot by. Route planning for fuel deliveries

  • Identify fuel sales opportunities in the geographical area covered by the depot, by cold calling, telemarketing and emailing
  • Confidently interact with both commercial and domestic prospective and actual customers to generate business
  • Handle any customer service issues with your customers with a view to resolving amicably
  • Provide your line manager with lead updates on a daily basis
  • Route planning

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven track record in a sales-based role. A high degree of self-motivation and drive. Excellent communication skills. Strong commercial awareness. A confident and determined approach. Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ability and desire to sell. Knowledge of the local area. Computer literate.
