Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts assistant to join our Financial Servicing Executives for a 12 month FTC. You will work to service levels over multiple client portfolios within the Investments department and will carry out reconciliations in compliance with Target and its client policies, procedures and processes.

You will undertake activities including, but not limited to;

  • Daily Cash Reconciliations
  • Asset Reconciliations
  • System Reconciliations
  • Client Money Calculations
  • Query Management
  • Support for the creation of monthly invoice
  • Support the production of regulatory reporting
  • Quality assurance to ensure items are being actively worked
  • Ensure breaches are logged and reported within the relevant timeframes, ensure breaches are being closed in timely manner
  • Working with operation areas to identify business improvement actions, implementing controls and reporting on progress. Ensure procedures accurately reflect controls.
  • Produce and analyses management information
  • Supporting first line of defense controls

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience within a Payment process team. Demonstrable experience of delivering customer focus outcomes in a regulatory environment. Sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Experience working in a FSA Regulatory Environment including CASS and COB requirements (desirable). Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing. Ability to make decisions in a timely manner taking consequences and risks into consideration. Demonstrates ability to use initiative. Able to suggest changes and improvements to working methodologies and processes. Positive, enthusiastic and committed to achieving both personal and team goals. Receptive to challenges and change. Able to work with minimum supervision in a high pressure environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
