Job Description

Role responsibilites:

  • Playing a critical part within the business, managing the liaison between the consultancy, the client and the contractor.
  • Working within a busy environment, checking and making alterations of consultant designs in conjunction with the works on site
  • Signing off designed as an authorised CRE in the construction team of a railway project
  • Working closely with the design consultancy and the client, reviewing their drawings against client specification and build ability.
  • Visiting the railway construction sites dealing with any ongoing alterations and ensuring the project is completed to specification.
  • You will take responsibility of carrying out initial buildability assessments as nominated CRE
  • You will be providing technical input in to Panning of the works
  • You will oversee the checking and authorising of - Work Package Plans, Method Statements, ITP's, Temporary Works requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Civil CRE background Network Rail experience Will need to have current or past site management or construction management It is essential you are signed off as a CRE for Construction by Network Rail and can provide which region signed you off as well as your NR DPE.
