The Property Department has experienced significant growth over the last couple of years and that growth is set to continue, with major tender wins on high profile projects across the country.

We are currently recruiting to join our Private Sector Commercial Property team in our Leeds office. The private sector team mostly act for clients within the private sector but also work within other sectors across the firm where there is a need for expertise.

We have a role to fulfil working predominantly for clients within the Private and Local Government Sector to assist the Partners and Associates in the team advising clients on commercial acquisitions, sales and refinances and to assist with leasehold management work for a number of clients. Therefore experience of handling your own caseload of commercial transactions and preparation and negotiation of contracts for sale, transfers, replies to standard commercial property enquiries, leases and ancillary documentation is essential along with the ability to run a caseload with limited supervision. The role also requires solid property experience in title and search review including preparation of reports on title.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy team on a range of property matters supporting the wider commercial property team.

Attention to detail, efficiency and the ability to use your own initiative will be essential for this position, and the ability to work to challenging deadlines will be imperative.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous property experience and the ability to work mostly unsupervised although there is a wealth of experience in the team should support be required.
