Transport Manager Position Overview

Joining a close knit team the client are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to ensure the company complies with all its Statutory and Operator Licence obligations for its small fleet commercial vehicles and trailers that deliver floor beam, brick and block products throughout the UK to construction sites.

As part of the position you will also be required to provide Aftersales Support for the company's Fleet of Contract Hire vehicles and equipment so a flexible 'hands on' approach is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must hold a CPC in National Road Haulage Operations Significant technical knowledge of vehicle engineering legislation, Construction and Use regulations. Knowledge of Drivers Hours and Tachograph's Previous experience of FORS's Compliance Experience in planning and supervising drivers. A HGV Class 1 will be required as assistance in collecting and delivering vehicles will be required.
