Preparation of monthly management accounts, including reviews and commentary
Balance sheet reconciliations, with all balances fully investigated and reconciled
Preparation of annual department budgets and quarterly forecasts
Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
Management of external audit process
MS Excel work, advanced
Experienced in balance sheet substantiation.
Experienced in dealing with auditors.
Experienced in group reporting.
Involvement in ad hoc financial projects
You will form a close working relationship with the FD and CFO so a hands on approach is required and the ability to hit the ground running. It is also important you can priorities tasks and working alone effectively as most of the time you will be home based.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have no direct reports. Working from home initially, this may change. Previous project accounting experience would be beneficial. Microsoft D365 experience is a strong desirable. Experienced in inter-company processes - experience in reporting to group/head office.
