Job Description

Our client is working with an International Bank based in the City of London who are looking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Accountant on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a global banking environment.

You will join the Finance team and report directly into the Senior Financial Controller where you will carry out internal & external regulatory reporting.

You will assist with the implementation of CRR and CRD 4 and other key systems projects ensuring that this has been carried out to a high standard, prepare daily regulatory monitoring reports, take ownership of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting, analyse & monitor capital adequacy and liquidity, provide support senior management on the production of reports.

You will be encouraged to identify ways in which deliverables of regulatory reporting can improved including ways of utilising systems to fully capability.

Candidate Skills and Experience;

• Strong regulatory knowledge including Bank of England returns, Liqrep and Corep.
• Sound knowledge of legacy IRR reporting
• Strong accounting knowledge for banking products
• Experience working within the finance team in a bank
• Proficient with IT skills and MS office
• Language skills

This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract and the salary for this role is up to £75k
