Job Description

- Managing the credit management function and overseeing a team of credit controllers.
- Be the point of escalation for outstanding debt, working closely with external customers
- Dealing with a range of clients mainly consisting of medium to large organisations.
- Leading and motivating the credit control team in order to achieve collection targets.
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO.
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the team.
- Manage relationships with clients to reduce exposure of potential bad debt.
- Preparation of weekly cash forecast including customer collections.
- Reviewing credit applications, due diligence setting credit limits and ensure credit worthiness.
- Preparing cash forecast for Finance Director and board.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

What you will need to succeed: Have strong system skills and be a competent Excel user You'll have ideally come from a credit control background Proven management experience to lead a medium-sized team
