Job Description

Our client is looking for a candidate to lead, manage and develop the Client Accounting Services Team. The services covered by this team will include annual accounts, management accounts, financial controls, tax computations as well as completing a simple treasury function amongst other duties.

Commercial Finance Manager duties will include (but are not limited to);

• Leading, managing and developing the Client Accounting Services Team
• Ensuring the team is properly resourced with the correct mix of skills to deliver an exemplary service
• Keeping abreast of all applicable legislation and FCA regulations and guidelines
• Maintaining correct and up to date customer ledgers within the regulatory framework
• Acting as the key point of contact within the finance department
• Managing the day to day work of the team to ensure work is prioritized in line with client requirements

Whilst not essential, it would be highly beneficial if you are a Qualified Accountant with knowledge of financial regulations such as Anti-Money Laundering, Data protection, CASS and MCOB.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience managing a team across different functions as well as having previous experience working within a financial services focused role. A high level of Microsoft Excel competency is also necessary to succeed.
