Job Description

Leading London based international insurance group with Lloyd’s syndicate and company market insurance operations are looking for an experienced technical accountant with a strong understanding of IFRS 4 and IFRS 9 to assist on a number of technical accounting projects. You will provide technical accounting advice and support on the future implementation of IFRS 17 and the ongoing development of Solvency II with a view to developing our client’s technical accounting and reporting capability. Key drivers will include implementation of technical accounting projects, controlling the framework of reporting, Solvency II projects and advisory on BAU reporting requirements.
You will be a qualified accountant, with strong technical accounting knowledge, be comfortable with IFRS (IFRS 4, IFRS 9) and Solvency II reporting guidelines. Strong interpersonal skills are required. You will be managing relationships at all levels and need to be able to effectively drive initiatives and reporting based projects.
