Job Description

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum plus benefits.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Group Finance Controller:

  • Leading FP&A activities and supporting Finance business partnering service to all in the Group
  • Support strategic projects and systems implementation
  • Drive business change and efficiency
  • Monitoring and reporting on business performance to Senior managers and key stakeholders
  • Managing and monitoring cash flow
  • Support the development and management of group wide budgets
  • Developing and implement financial models
  • Pricing modelling and competitor analysis
  • Overhead modelling and capacity planning
  • Support the Strategic planning initiatives
  • Ensure finance systems are effective and accurate
  • Provide challenge to the senior management team
  • Management of the external audit process
  • Development of internal control framework to support growing business
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns, liaising with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with legislation
  • Responsibility for a first-class financial service to all staff and budget holders across the Group.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified to degree level. Highly computer literate and very proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms. Be really interested in data and be able to interpret complexities. Able to multi-task and deal with a broad range of activities. Have a proven interest in technology and virtual learning platforms. Remain calm, controlled, and professional at all times. Discretion and trustworthiness. Flexible and adaptable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to deal with all levels of the Organization in a highly professional manner. Highly organized, efficient, and the ability to multitask. Ability to be proactive and take the initiative whilst maintaining attention to detail. Highly professional and able to interact effectively at all levels. Proven experience of working with Executives. Ability to analyze data and make appropriate comments. Be able to prepare professional presentation materials.
