We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Accountancy Sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant - Chartered to join a highly successful Accountancy based in Borehamwood, Herts

Senior Accountant’s Core Duties

• Liaison with our outsourcing 'department’ in India and being their point of contact
• Dealing with all KYC issues and take-on of clients
• Arranging for client files to be sent to outsourcers for book-keeping, VAT, accounts preparation, payroll etc, and dealing with queries
• Review of all files returned after preparation and signing off of accounts
• Preparation of tax returns based on final figures
• Filing of VAT returns, tax returns, company accounts, dealing with NEST
• Expansion of business to bring in new
• Meeting of clients, giving tax advice where applicable

Senior Accountant’s Skills required

• Must have the willingness to work with our client’s Indian counterparts
• Familiar with accounting packages (Excel, Iris, Sage and Quickbooks)
• Have good tax knowledge
• Familiarity with Non Resident Landlord Scheme
• ATED filing

Senior Accountant’s Key Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in practice, including currently working practice (not industry)
• Practice certificate would be a bonus, or the ability to obtain one

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
