Management Accountant
Full-time, Permanent - Temporarily remote
Job Description

As a Management Accountant you will you will prepare the management accounts and other financial reports, alongside managing the payments and receipting processes on behalf of a Client as part of a small team.

You will lead project and process developments to assist in creating more efficient and enhanced reporting. You will also provide support managing the Client’s reporting expectations in terms of billing, portfolio management reporting and analytics.

Location and Hours:

This position is based at Cardiff Gate although remote working is in place for the foreseeable.

The office is accessible by public transport from Cardiff City Centre and at various pick up points along Newport Road. The position will be temporarily based form home until early spring next year as it currently stands.

The hours of work are 8:00am - 16:30pm or 8:30am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.

Salary and Benefits:

The starting range is between £21,478 and £26,252 per annum depending on experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be part or Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent). Management and analysis of large volumes of data. Have previous management and financial accounting experience. Be highly organized, efficient and able to meet deadlines. Be a good problem solver with strong numeracy and analytical skills. Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Be proficient in Microsoft Office - especially strong Excel skills are essential. Microsoft Dynamics365 Accounting Software experience. Utilities or energy industry experience.
