This newly created role of Group Credit Manager will take responsibility for the following aspects of the finance function across a fast paced, acquisitive and deadline driven business.
Cash management including monitoring of available cash, identifying best use of group cash balances
Improving cash flow forecasting using modelling and scenario-based projections
Manage relationship with commercial banking facility providers
Supporting M&A on items such as integration of banking facilities
Ensuring ongoing banking facilities are fit for purposes, suggesting improvements where appropriate
Overseeing the client money accounts across the group, ensuring regulatory compliance
Leading and developing the Credit Control team, implementing processes and procedures to maximise efficiency
Implementing regular management reporting for treasury and credit control
Review and minimise the use of petty cash across the group
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Accountancy, Credit Management or Treasury qualification Track record of leading successful credit control team Positive enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude Well organised with strength in prioritising and meeting key deadlines Able to work autonomously and flexibly High level of accuracy and good attention to detail Strong Excel and analytical skills Strong people management skills Previous experience in a cash management role Strong communication skills, including ability to build relations internally and externally
