Job Description

We are an independent brewery and pub company who are looking for a Financial Controller to maintain our current financial policies and update policies or direction as the companies develop and grow. The role will oversee the financial health and growth of both companies ensuring financial compliance at all times.

· Oversee and guide the finance team in all of the following areas:

1. Purchase ledger

2. Sales ledger

3. Banking

4. Petty cash

5. Payroll

6. VAT

· Lead negotiations and relationships for all corporate funding:

1. Bank loans

2. Grants

3. Growth Funding

· Maintain and streamline all banking systems

1. Corporate/Online Banking

2. Relationship with bank manager

· Create and present all financial reporting

1. Monthly, quarterly and year end management reports

2. Create and maintain budgets

· Ensure all HMRC communication is maintained and updated

Experience:

• AAT/ ACCA: 2 years (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will work closely with and report to both acting directors and the executive team. The candidate must have a background in corporate financial management and relevant accountancy qualifications. AAT or part qualified ACCA considered.
