Job Description
A typical week would include:
- Leading the preparation of a Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA) for the planning application of a new mixed-use development
- Attending a virtual ‘mitigation’ workshop with our biodiversity colleague for creation of new habitats as part of a new nationally significant road infrastructure project
- Working with one of our Technical Director to prepare the statement of common grounds for a new energy infrastructure.
- Completing the webtag worksheet for smart motorway project
- Reviewing the landscape section of the scoping report for a new rail station.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent; Chartered with the Landscape Institute or equivalent Significant experience of landscape and visual impact assessment for infrastructure or development projects Experience in the preparation of Statement of common Desirable experience – acted as an Expert Witness Project management experience including preparation of bids, management of project finance and client relationship; Managing your own workload and that of your allocated project team; Track record of successful project delivery; both technically and commercially; and Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills;
