Job Description

As a Production Operative your key activities will be focused on the assembly and completion of Modular houses. A high level of flexibility will be required within this role to achieve the full requirements of modular assembly.
This will encompass assembly operations, material control / movement and process verification throughout the staged build of the product. A high level of engagement and contribution in the continuous improvement of the production system will be required to ensure both the product and process are optimised to the highest standards You will also actively collaborate across Production, Engineering and Logistics to ensure the delivery of the highest quality modules to time. In addition to these requirements you may be asked to perform other duties by your line manager to support the development of the business objectives.
 

• You will have completed a DIY/short construction course / diploma in a construction or manufacturing skill
• If you do not have a qualification, we will also accept a minimum of one year's experience in a similar position
• You will have good written and verbal literacy and numeracy skills
• General knowledge of building trades would be advantageous
• You will need to demonstrate our business values & behaviours - Straightforward, purposeful, continuous improvement & collaboration
• Be resilient, reliable and manage timekeeping
