As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team and work on a number of projects to develop processes. Your day to day duties will include:
Day to day responsibility of the finance department and managing a team within sales and purchase ledger
Looking at systems and processes and adapting where necessary
Ensuring all the accounting processes are delivered accurately and on-time
Developing and implementing procedures to ensure the department delivers
Support and manage the accounts function within Purchase, Sales, Payroll and Credit Control
Assist with the Management Accounts as required
Support Accounts Assistant as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need to have previous management experience within a finance department, within Sales and Purchase ledger. Experience with managing a team and providing support and motivation to drive the team forward. Ideally you will be AAT qualified and have experience of working within finance
