The Senior Tax Manager will report directly to the Tax Partner and work closely with them providing Tax advice to their client portfolio. To be considered for this opportunity you need to possess strong technical skills to assist with Tax advisory projects and reports. You need to have gained your ATT and CTA qualifications.

The Senior Tax Manager would suit an experienced Tax Manager who is keen to progress to the next stage of their career and possible route to partnership (if that is what is desired).

The Senior Tax Manager will have extensive client contact, so good communication skills are essential for this opportunity. You will also be involved with mentoring junior colleagues in the team and building upon their existing skills base.

Senior Tax Manager duties and responsibilities:

• Providing Tax advise to a mixed portfolio of clients (personal and corporate).
• Advising in relation to R&D Tax credits and employee share schemes.
• Ensuring timely submission of all forms and documents.
• Helping to develop and progress the junior tax team members.
• Ad hoc assignments connected to tax planning advice.
• Deal with HMRC forms and reporting requirements e.g. forms PIID, CT61, etc.
• Checking corporation tax and trade computations.
• Ad hoc tax planning advice.
• Various other duties appropriate to the role including monitoring deadlines for completion of work.
• Confidence to research and advise on any query that may arise.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 35 hours per week.
