Job Description

Working closely with stakeholders across the business – both Management and Operational employees – you will be the visible presence of HR.

This is a wide ranging, truly generalist role where no two days will be the same. Initial focus for the HR Manager will be varied including talent acquisition and recruitment, succession planning, employment law and management development.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be Level 5 CIPD qualified; Have worked within a blue collar environment previously; Have recent/current experience of working within an SME (no more than 500 employees); Be a true HR generalist with experience of touching on all elements of the HR lifecycle; Understand the culture and environment of a traditionally run business; Be able to alter your style when dealing with different members of staff; Be confident in reporting to the Board, looking to positively influence and challenge.
