Job Description

We are working exclusively with our successful client to recruit a Group Financial Controller. Based on the outskirts of Cardiff (Newport side) you will be based at their prestigious office with onsite parking.

Reporting to the MD you will have responsibility for all aspects of financial control for the business.

Duties:

• Financial forecasting
• Monthly accounts for group businesses
• Managing 2 accounts staff
• Overseeing payroll, invoicing and credit control
• VAT and HMRC reporting
• Company secretarial duties
• Liaising with auditors on annual accounts
• Authorizing payments
• Analysis for new business projects
• Managing any IT requirements for the business including:
• Liaising with Cloud IT server supplier
• Broadband and phone suppliers
• reviewing systems and improving

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Competent with Sage and Excel. Able to adapt to IT challenges. A “people person” that enjoys being part of a team and supporting staff both technically and motivationally. Open and adaptable to change particularly in the current climate. Experienced in company secretarial duties. Experienced in producing timely monthly management accounts with narrative.
