Job Description

We are recruiting for a Call Centre representative who will be the link between our company and its existing and prospective customers. The successful incumbent will accept ownership for effectively solving customer queries, inquiries, and complaints. The main responsibility is to keep the customer engaged and satisfied with each interaction.

Responsibilities and skills

  • Display professionalism and maintain a high standard of customer service.
  • Courteously and efficiently attend and respond to all customer requests and inquiries, by utilising telephonic or email communication.
  • Accurately capture information, assign queries to relevant divisions, and diligently attend and respond to queries related to customer service.
  • Answering inbound calls within the timeframe set by the company.
  • Respond to queries via email or make outbound calls telephonically to provide customers with an update.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assign.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks or projects as required.
  • Accurately and correctly update customer information on the in-house system.
  • Comply with the relevant policies set to protect customer information.
  • Avoid formal complaints being lodged against the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Perform well under constant pressure. Good typing speed will be to your advantage. Good listening and questioning abilities. Must be a team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail. Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic. Ability to handle conflict.
