Job Description

We currently have some great opportunities for Customer Service Advisors to join our growing Insurance team in Cardiff. You'll support our customers with their enquiries and requests, and in return for your dedication we'll support you in developing your strengths and career aspirations.

  • Communicating professionally with our customers, across a range of customer processes, ensuring the majority of requests are dealt with on a one-stop basis and at first point of contact.
  • Pro-actively manage relationships with Customers, IFA’s and internal departments.
  • Continually improve customer processes by seeking regular feedback and raise issues and areas of concern so that tangible improvements can be recommended.
  • Support opportunities to retain business, by listening to and understanding fully what a customer is asking for and providing a tailored response or passing a lead through to the appropriate sales channel via the agreed process.
  • Undertake complaint handling following defined processes to their conclusion or recognise the appropriate point at which to hand over to others.
  • Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively work on your own development to ensure you are consistently demonstrating company values and capabilities.
  • Identify customer needs and providing sales through service.
  • Talk confidently about products and services that Legal and General offer at every opportunity.

Working hours cover - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm as part of a rota. Saturdays are approximately 1 in 4, covering 9:00am to 1:00pm.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous Customer Services experience. Good Communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer literate. Ability to work within a fast paced, changing environment. Ability to work to targets. Strong team working skills.
