Job Description

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR you will lead an established HR team of 6 in delivering a proactive, business focused HR service across a business which has approx.1600 employees. As an established HR Operations manager, you will lead the team to manage an efficient HR service which will include the full employee lifecycle, employee relations, HR service delivery & legal/compliance. Alongside the Head of HR, you will help to drive the people strategy across the business as well as get involved in additional projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR operations manager or a Business Partner with ops and management experience. This is a fast paced and dynamic organisation, therefore the successful candidate must have previous experience of working in a busy environment & be able to work innovatively and be adaptable in their approach. The successful candidate will have experience of managing a small team and have excellent communication skills & ideally have delivered training to small groups. The ideal candidate experience of managing ER case workload and defining ER practices and processes. You will also have experience in the development and implementation of employment policies, protocols and guidance. Due to the growth and pace of this organisation, Experience of implementing continuous improvement projects in a customer service environment would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of employment law and other associated legislation such as GDPR. Experience of working for a FTSE 200 company would be desirable but not essential.
