Job Description

Duties:

  • Responsible for Payroll clients and internal Payroll matters
  • Processing monthly Payroll runs
  • Processing SMP, SSP, SSPP45s, new starters and leavers
  • Overseeing matters related to HR
  • Managing, supporting and developing 3 junior accountants
  • Assisting with incoming communications
  • Advising clients on Payroll processing options
  • Growing the overall Payroll capacity

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
VERY comfortable with technology Excellent knowledge and understanding of Pensions/Payroll Experience with Ecommerce businesses and platforms At least 1 years’ experience in an accountancy practice Problem solving Self-motivated/self-starter Experience with Xero (essential) and Brightpay Bureau (preferred) Ability to fit in to a close-knit, positive and friendly team
