Job Description

Other responsibilities will include:

Generalist Activities
• Create and deliver efficient policies, processes and procedures in all areas of HR operations – joiner, mover, leaver etc.
• General HRIS & MI reporting as requested by the management team
• Company – employee communications
• Compensation and benefits management & coordination -working with external providers (benefits) and communicating the timely updates to remuneration offerings including renewal processes.
• Maintain and apply an up to date approach to UK employment law processes, updating internal policies and guidelines when required.
• Dealing with all HR queries for the business
• Monitor employee morale and company culture.
• Maintain employee personnel records.
• Self-initiated projects designed to promote colleague performance, moral and development.

Talent Management & Development
• Contribute and support on the creation of a progressive approach to talent management from “hire to retire”.
• Modernise the performance management process with a view to drive performance, promote engagement and produce desirable behaviours in all function areas of the business.
• Support in the up skilling of managers and leaders with a specific focus on management capabilities (empathy, conflict resolution, difficult conversations), fostering a culture of high performance, employee engagement and collaborative team working etc.
• Establish cost-effective and commercial development plans for all staff to promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Instil a focus of data-driven outcome focused solutions through the analysis of interventions to evidence progress & development
• Visa management & renewal processes for staff where required

Talent acquisition
• Leading all talent acquisition related duties working in partnership with the management teams across the business and specialist external providers where required.
• Collaborating and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and hiring managers to understand business requirements linked to talent acquisition, talent pipelining and resource planning.
• Owning and fostering third party relationships to maximize value and harness market intelligence
• Ensure the correct market positioning of the firm - highlighted as an employer of choice in the competitive talent market.
• Maintaining a strong and active network of leading experts in the recruitment market to identify potential talent trends/movements for the business to leverage and capitalize on.
Projects
• Act as the people-lead on all ad hoc projects within the business
• Make a meaningful contribution to initiatives and interventions to progress the firms approach to people management and performance improvement
• Lead on annual people related processes


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful HR Manager will be a key member of the management team and will be expected to contribute by providing expert advice on all people related matters and will participate in discussions on the broader direction of business operations
