Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
Bookkeeping
- Complete the monthly bookkeeping
- Double entry bookkeeping for a variety of structures under administration
- Reconcile bookkeeping against bank and custody statements
- Resolve any reconciliation issues/queries with administrative staff
- Prepare cash statements as required
Accounting Administration
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and related computations
- Complete the monthly management accounts
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of bookkeeping spreadsheet for clients requiring bookkeeping services
- Providing accounting support to clients
Other
- Preparation of self-assessment returns and non-resident company returns
- Comply with all client accounting manuals and processes
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Liaising directly with clients
- Liaising directly with directors
The Successful Applicant
The successful Bookkeeper:
- Comfortable performing the above duties
- At least 2 year's bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of bookkeeping systems and processes
- Solid knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
- Understanding of the different corporate structures to which bookkeeping services are to be provided to
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
