Job Description

On behalf of my client who are a regional IFA firm I am looking for a full time IFA Administrator to join the financial planning team in their North East office.

This role involves providing first line administrative and technical support to the Independent Financial Advisor and being the point of contact for clients.
Duties will include processing new business for pensions, investment and life insurance, preparing written recommendations for advice, conducting research into suitable products and completing compliance checks on business.
The post holder will also be required to deal with queries from clients, maintain the client database and undertake any other tasks as required in support of the Independent Financial Advisor.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates will ideally possess, or be working towards suitable industry qualifications, and have relevant work experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with an Independent Financial Advisor or Wealth Management firm. Applicants must also be able to work unsupervised, possess good organisation skills and have a good eye for detail.
