KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)
To facilitate through liaison with line managers, increased awareness and consistency of implementation of all company policies and procedures
Liaise with Heads of Departments to review, amend and develop policies as appropriate
Review and provide input into the resolution and remediation actions of disciplinary matters in consultation with Line Management and the HR Manager.
Participate in disciplinary enquires and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, action plans derived from employee engagement Surveys and retention strategies in consultation with the HR Manager and the business.
Implementation of Employee Wellness programs and initiatives for increased employee productivity and retention.
to stay up to date on all general labour law compliance and issues
Ensuring that employees and teams are in place to address compliance issues
Responsible for thoroughly understanding compliance laws, as well as providing adequate communication to managers and employees about such laws.
Drafting and/or revising various documents of legal nature
Update employee’s handbook regularly, that will clearly outline your organization’s policies and procedures, as well as how business should be conducted.
Ensure that all employees are educated about compliance regulations
Take a lead in all UKVI reporting, the sponsorship process for successful candidates to obtain their visa, the visa extension process for existing employees, overseeing regular audits, maintaining records and ensuring compliance at all times.
To develop skills in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance, driving change and developing the role in a customer-friendly, pro-active manner.
To ensure that DBS and associated employee checks are processed in a timely manner and any discrepancies or concerns are raised immediately with the HR Manager.
To chase employers for references, the DBS service, the employee and all those involved in the compliance for each new employee
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Education CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent Proven experience within HR on a day to day functionality is essential Background within compliance, ideally from a regulated environment Proficient in MS Office application Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills Organized and detail-oriented individuals, able to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment People-oriented so they must have the requisite skills to build cross-functional relationships, superb partnering and teaming skills, and ability to influence others
