· This role is a mixture between phone and admin.
· The Customer Service Specialist is competent in back office systems and processes in one of the core business areas of New Business, Customer Service or Bereavements.
· They understand their responsibilities and how these contribute to the success of the customer, team and business.
· They always seek to fully meet the needs of their customer and respond promptly to requests and enquiries.
· Where necessary to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, they will communicate proactively and reactively with customers or their authorized representatives through appropriate communication channels e.g. telephone, email, messaging, correspondence, on-line and IT systems; always using appropriate techniques to fully understand the customer’s wants and needs and verifying understanding with the customer.
· They are flexible and can adapt to meet the changing needs of customers and the business.
Other Information
· This is a temporary role for initially 6 months to start January 2021.
· This role is 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9 – 5pm. No weekends unless overtime is offered.
· You will be on an hourly rate of £9.50 with holiday paid on top. This is weekly pay.
