Our client is growing and are keen to recruit a well-motivated and experienced person to be based in their Leatherhead office. They are seeking an all-round experienced Management Accountant / Bookkeeper from preferably a small business – will consider candidates qualified by experience.
Job Description:
Bookkeeping and Management Accounts for the Company
Reconciling Accounts
Preparing journals and journal entries
Preparation of accounts up to P&L and Trial Balance
Reconciling the bank accounts and credit card statement
Oversee input of purchase invoices
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Forecast/Budgets Schedules
Expenditure for year to date against budgets
All Bank Payment runs Sterling + Euros/Dollars via foreign exchange company
Payroll liaison with accountants
Quarterly P&L review against forecast and budgets
Monthly sales figures for each product group against budgets
Year to date sales figures for products against annual budgets
Weekly sales invoiced and orders in figures for the month to date
Main contact for IT Support (via liaison with external IT support company)
Responsible for all Insurance policies and renewals
Excel – experience in data extraction
Accountant liaison including annual submission of financials in prep for Annual Accounts
Cash-flow reporting
Vehicle contract hire contracts
Debt chasing statements/solicitors letters
Person Specification:
Experience in Bookkeeping / Management Accounts
AAT Level 3 or 4
Familiar with Sage 200
Strong IT skills
Experience across purchase and sales ledger
Experience with stock control
Competent Excel user to include data export from accounts system
Additional Information:
Based in Leatherhead
£35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience / qualifications
