To be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues on all HR issues and offer advice on policy and practice.
Providing support for the appraisal system including triggering and tracking progress of appraisals.
Producing management reports in areas including absence, accident reporting, appraisals, training and labour turnover.
Leading on HR case work.
Advising on and administration relating to maternity/paternity leave.
Leading on manager and colleague training and development.
Carrying out background research into specific HR issues as required.
As the HR Advisor, involvement in various project work is also something that you must enjoy, it is key to have been in a role where you have had experience of producing regular management information reports.
Salary: £24-28K (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday- Friday 37 hours/week (mainly working remotely currently due to COVID)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
It is essential that you have the ability to lead projects and initiatives and that you are CIPD qualified or have a relevant qualification to degree level. Broad, up to date, generalist knowledge and experience within human resources is also essential, as is the fact that you are a multi-tasker who has exceptional organisational and communication skills. You should have an approachable manner and be very results-focussed.
