The main objectives of the role are:

  • Provide a full range of administration support for HR related topics.
  • Support and assist the HR team across employee relations, on-boarding and payroll.
  • Report and analyse data to share with team and organisation.
  • Support and actively partake in HR development projects.

As the successful HR Assistant, you will be required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for general HR queries and monitor the inbox.
  • Provide a full range of HR administration including; drafting letters, contracts, filing, providing references, stationery orders.
  • Run monthly reports and share with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update payroll and absence/rota systems.
  • Manage the DBS process - sending links, monitoring and verifying documents.
  • Support HR Officer on sickness process, KPI’s and immigration log.

As the successful HR Assistant, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • CIPD qualified or willing to work towards is preferred.
  • 1+ years’ experience of working within an HR team is preferable.
  • Experience of using HR Information Systems.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and employee relations processes.
  • Customer service experience with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, efficient and flexible working style.
