Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work at both a strategic and operational level to develop the provision of people services across the organisation.

This organisation believes the people within it are their biggest asset, and they wish for the HR Director to with them to ensure they are well supported and well managed in line with their organisational culture.

They are looking for the right person to champion their values and promote equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.

This role will be required to clearly articulate knowledge and advice on employment legislation and strategic issues and provide support to both operational and senior managers.

The HR Director will identify, prioritise and achieve improvements in organisational effectiveness and employee engagement through sound leadership and people management processes.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
They're looking for an exceptional candidate with relevant skills and experience and a positive and enthusiastic approach to HR as well as: Flexibility to travel across the Yorkshire area (access to your own car with travel expenses covered), as well as occasional national travel to events planned well in advance Minimum of level 5 CIPD Experience within the not for profit sector, ideally in your most recent role Experience within an SME, ideally in developing and implementing HR policies Experience of TUPE transfers (in and out)
