The role will allow the person to study and develop toward a Business Administrator Level 3 qualification with the help of Starting Off, Scorpions HR Manager and her team. The role ensures the individual would gain day to day experience within our offices of some of the core HR functions, including but not limited to:
Reference Checking and Chasing
Compiling Summary Information following Reviews and Appraisals
Working Through New Employee Checklists
Posting Vacancy Advertisements with online portals such as Indeed
Interview Appointment Making (can include some initial questioning dependant on ability)
Issuing out of Self-Assessment Review Paperwork and Chasing
Issuing out of Line Management Review Paperwork and Chasing
Upkeep of Employee Files
Offer and Disciplinary Paperwork Creation
SIA Licence / Driving Licence Reviews and Upkeep
Administration of PPE and Engineers Checks
Interview Note Taking
Personal Development Plan (PDP) progress administration and training Logs
New Legislation Flag Ups
Development of the Companies Procedures and Processes, including Training and PDP
In addition to Starting Off’s training scheme, which runs alongside.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
As the role is a developing position time will also be split supporting the Administration team with the day to day running of the business and administration support to the Sales team. The right candidate will have an interest in developing a career in HR and Personnel, be able to demonstrate a good to excellent MS Office skillset as well as an ability and want to learn.
