Job Description

Bookkeeper and payroll specialist required to join a leading tech focused and cloud based accountancy practice based in Wandsworth, South London. Our practice are seeking an experienced book-keeper, with excellent xero and QB skills to perform book-keeping to trial balance and assist with month end accounting and end to end payroll. This is a small but friendly and forward thinking cloud practice.

Bookkeeper and Payroll Position Overview

Your day to day duties will include

• Bookkeeping for accounts to TB
• Accounts preparation
• Client facing and first point of call for your clients queries
• Preparing VAT returns
• Reconciling bank accountants
• Month end journals
• End to end Payroll - payroll training will be provided

Bookkeeper and payroll Position Requirements

• 2 years minimum accounts experience within practice is required
• Experience with cloud based software's is essential, ideally xero, freeagent and quickbooks
• AAT / CIPP Bookkeeping qualifications would be advantageous, however CIPP study support is available.
• You must be locally based to Wandsworth, South London.
• Experience taking accounts to draft stage is essential.

Bookkeeper Position Remuneration

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience
Monday - Friday - full time 09.00 - 17.00

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
