Job Description

You will be responsible for the day to day HR Generalist needs covering performance management, low level ER cases, recruitment, training, onboarding and the weekly site payroll. You will coach and upskill managers and employees, provide advice and support on employment contracts, employment law and add value and use best practice to support the business. You will work in a friendly environment with opportunities to expand your HR skill set, getting involved in a variety of HR projects. You will work closely with the Site Lead and report to the Regional HR Manager, this is a standalone role in a manufacturing business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need to be a strong Generalist HR professional with experience in a standalone HR role. You will need experience in managing ER cases, performance management, training needs, recruitment, and payroll. You will need experience in building relationships with union representatives, coaching and upskilling managers and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will need to be a confidant, hardworking, resilient and pro-active HR professional with strong communication skills. You will need to have a working knowledge of Employment Law and have excellent organisation and administration skills. You will ideally have a minimum of a Level 3 CIPD qualification.
