You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to deliver design projects from inception to completion, including feasibilities and statutory consents.
Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is advantageous
Knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous
Be able to build relationships with existing and new clients, including within AECOM
Condition survey experience, schedules of condition, dilapidations
Demonstrate leadership skills in projects, taking financial responsibility for projects.
Manages and coordinates all phases of surveying projects.
Prepares cost estimates and proposals.
Project manages own projects.
Manages client requirements.
Invoices clients.
Completes required tasks with minimal supervision.
May supervise multiple surveyors and groups of subcontractors.
May manage sub-consultants to work safely and comply with the requirements within scope of work.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in all core Building Surveying work areas especially design and contract administration.
Experience of working and building relationships within the private and public sector
Previous management of sub consultants and contractors
Willingness to participate in work winning and bidding
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Degree level education as a minimum Defence Sector experience would be an advantage Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is advantageous
