Job Description
  • The daily management of the web shop floor team and its day to day operations
  • Monitor sales and meet targets
  • Work with the purchasing team to produce seasonal product ranges to be sold online for click & collect or delivery
  • Prepare & upload product images & data to a high standard ready for sale on the web shop
  • Liaise with marketing to produce in store, social media & website offers or events to promote Click & Collect and web shop sales
  • Overseeing, picking, packaging, processing customers click & collect, and delivery orders, returns & courier start to finish. Cover web assistant when required.
  • Liaising with shop team to deal with customer General & product enquiries
  • Making sure customer is always happy with the service.
  • Prioritizing correctly and aware of delivery timings and customer expectations being met.
  • Overseeing courier pick-ups and monitoring dispatch on the courier website/app
  • Assist IT & Web Operations Manager in relevant task when required

Salary and Company Benefits:

  • Starting salary up to £25,000 per annum depending on skills & experience
  • 28 days annual leave including paid Bank Holidays, pro-rata basis for part-time employees

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Retail experience. Strong time management skills are essential. Practical and methodical – Deals well in a set process and adds value. IT literate – Able to work well with email, EPOS & CMS systems etc. Product knowledge of the garden Centre collections to enable efficient product picking. Can do, enthusiastic attitude – shared want to see the Web shop and business succeed. Excellent communication skills, Oral and Written – able to voice ideas, communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, customers, and external stakeholders alike. Good Team Player, driven by the desire to deliver 100% customer service. Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the business. Health and Safety Conscious. The position will require heavy lifting.
