Main Purpose of the role
To support the Head of HR with the day-to-day functioning of the HR department, taking an
advisory role on best practices for recruitment and retention of staff as well as general HR
services and employee relations.
To work collaboratively with the HR team, ensuring high
standards of professionalism and dedication to the role and the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous schools experience is preferred, but not essential
Substantial experience supporting an HR function
CIPD part qualified or qualified L3 or above is preferred
Strong understanding of Employment Law
Excellent IT skills
Knowledge of SIMS database is preferred, but not essential
Hours and Salary
44 weeks or 52 weeks per year (7.30/8.00am-4.00pm during term time plus 3 days per week during the school holidays. 730am start required on a rota with other HR Advisor team member- lieu days and flexibility with hours offered) or all year round with same hours as above.
Flexibility with working hours is required due to the nature of the role and environment.
The FTE salary for 52 weeks is £35,000, for 44 weeks its £29,615.38.
