Lead on individual Building Surveying, Project Management, and Contract Administration commissions, managing multi-discipline project teams.
Fully involved in or managing others to produce drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical core professional Building Surveying services.
Continuous improvement of our standards, processes and knowledge to deliver improved services to our core clients.
Key account client management.
Establish client briefs, appropriate fees, and cost control through to completion.
Report to and work alongside the Associate Director managing the Plymouth based Building Surveying Team.
Minimum Requirements
You will need to be a Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS or MIOB) of at least 2 years post qualification, be from a consultancy or client organisation and have had;
Extensive experience of Building Surveying work comprising condition survey, feasibility, design and contract administration skills.
Experience of working with and building relationships with fellow professionals and Clients.
Previous management of sub-consultants and contractors
Previously managed and/or been involved in asset surveys on larger survey programmes, working with various technology packages to meet client requirements.
Ability to manage and monitor fees, profits and invoicing
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be educated to at least 2:1 degree level. 2 years post Chartered (RICS or MIOB) NEC3 Supervisor experience desirable but not essential Defence sector experience would be advantageous but not essential
