Job Description

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will act as the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries, addressing and resolving a wide variety of queries, covering debt recovery, lettings, housing applications, anti-social behavior and property repairs.

This is not your typical contact Centre, as you will need to be very proactive and able to use initiative to resolve the majority of cases at first contact, over the phone and via social media and web chat

This Customer Service Advisor role offers a good level of diversity, giving you the opportunity to develop your social housing and repairs experience, which could help you to further your career in the rewarding social housing sector.

Working for a social landlord you will deal with a large number of vulnerable tenants over the phone and will often deal with highly emotive and sensitive situations, so it’s particularly important you are supportive, patient and compassionate.

This Customer Service Advisor role will run for at least 3 months and the opportunity for a contract extension or permanent employment is likely, as the organization has plans to recruit permanently into the post. Additionally, whilst COVID restrictions remain, this role will initially be home-based, allowing you to avoid the morning commute and to work from the comfort of your own home.
